Club News and Information
|
Our club is a competitive USATF "age group" club
where all athletes compete within their own age groups
(6-18 years of age.) We also train/condition adults. Our
biggest annual competition is the National Junior
Olympics in both Track & Field and Cross Country.
Where Olympians begin!
Our athletes are allowed to train at their own pace;
after a few workouts and observations we decide what
events are best for them to compete in.
All of our athletes compete in the Regional Junior
Olympics and are expected to continue competing
through the National Junior Olympics if they qualify.
We practice at Stanford University's beautiful Angell
Field; Track & Field begins in February and continues
through July and Cross Country begins the first week of
September through the second week of December by
the Lacrosse/Soccer field. The sites also include the
Stanford Dish and Bayfront Park trails.
Our Coaches are USATF Coaches Education School
certified and dedicated to properly conditioning/training
all of our athletes to have better speed, endurance,
power and strength for distance running or sprinting.
We also include training in Long Jump, Hurdles and
other field events.
Registration is ongoing throughout the year.
Thank you for your interest in our club.
We look forward to meeting you!
Feel free to contact us anytime if you need more
information or have questions.
